Some babies have a scaly layer known as the cradle cap. They are heavy fatty crusts, nothing to worry about. They are neither bacterial nor contagious and often disappear at the age of four months.
How to get rid of cradle cap: Apply a moisturizing compound, (100% pure Argan oil like the Premium HairLovie Argan Serum, sweet almond oil, coconut oil or any baby oil) for half an hour, then comb the scalp with a soft comb for children or gently rub the scalp with your fingers and then wash the scalp with gentle baby shampoo ( e.g Puracy baby shampoo, Mustella cradle cap shampoo, Bella B shampoo Cradle cap, Dr.Eddies Happy Cappy shampoo, QV baby shampoo, etc) . After drying, apply a layer of raw Argan oil or Baby oil
Note: If these crusts are associated with irritating smell, redness, and crying, consult your paediatrician
